Kennedy, Jennifer
Clinical Administrative Assistant
In April 2013, Jennifer transitioned her career at Scripps Health to supporting Dr. Topol as his Clinical Administrative Assistant. Jennifer is responsible for organizing all patient information for review as consults for Dr. Topol and assisting with follow up patient care including many VIP Patients. She also serves as the point of contact for the Cardiology Fellows that are currently assisting Dr. Topol in clinic as they complete the KL2 Clinical Scholar Program at STSI. In this position she has been able to apply her experience at Scripps Health and La Jolla Dermatology and Plastic Surgery where she worked as a medical assistant and administrative support staff assisting high profile patients.
Prior to starting her healthcare career in 2008 Jennifer worked at a Reconveyance Corporation for five years managing foreclosure accounts for many Mortgage Corporations. She has incorporated her experience from her financial background to healthcare while creating a respectable rapport with STSI’s patients, employees and partners.
In July 2013, Jennifer took on the role as administrative support staff for the new Digital Medicine Director at STSI, Dr. Steven Steinhubl. She works closely with both Dr. Steinhubl and Dr. Topol and looks forward to the opportunity to continue to expand her expertise in healthcare administration.
