Bioinformatics Programmer Sr.
Galina holds a B.S. in Computer Science. She has always loved all aspects of science; especially genetics. After working several years in different areas of IT she decided to follow her dreams and enrolled in the Bioinformatics Graduate program at USCD Extensions. After completing the program she went on to work closely with Gerard Manning at Salk Institute studying the evolution of kinases. Currently at STSI she works on programming Data manipulation and visualization tools for the SG-Adviser pipeline, helping scientists easier work with large amounts of data.
