Sheard, Judy G., M.P.H.
Senior Project Manager, Scripps Advanced Clinical Trials
At STSI, Judy G. Sheard, M.P.H., manages numerous investigator-initiated and pharmaceutical sponsored trials; develops clinical documentation, including study protocols, CRFs, reference manuals and regulatory documents; directs the procurement of budgets, contracts and regulatory documents; and manages inter-disciplinary teams for effective implementation of trials. She is also a member of the clinical research staff at West Wireless Health Institute.
When she joined STSI/SGM in 2008, Judy had worked for 20 years at an academic/clinical organization, a small contract research organization and a large clinical site. Among her previous positions was Clinical Trials Leader for a 10 year period ending in 2005 for Scripps Clinic’s Nutrition and Metabolic Research Center.
In addition to receiving the M.P.H. in health promotion from San Diego State University, Judy has been awarded the Association of Clinical Research Professionals’ designations as a Certified Clinical Research Associate and Certified Clinical Research Coordinator.
