Darst, Burcu
Research Data Specialist
Burcu Darst joined STSI/SGM in August 2010 to assist in coordinating genomics and transcriptomics projects in the areas of brain aging and complex disease. She has a range of responsibilities, including data management and analysis, and is currently focused on a Scripps-funded study of gene expression correlates of Parkinson’s disease dementia led by Cinnamon Bloss, Ph.D. In 2009, Burcu received a B.S. degree in cognitive science with a specialization in neuroscience at UC San Diego.
